The new USA Strategies Small Business Affiliate-Internship Program with Elmhurst University Students

Our internship program is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to experience what it’s like to work in professional services as they take on roles similar to those of a part-time hire without the client management headaches of determining the right fit. The best part is you can use your team or individuals as much or as little as you want as they take on your projects big or small. 

Throughout the course of a project or projects to assist you, interns are hand-picked per your needs, interviewed by you remotely, and assigned to one or more client projects where they are responsible for a particular or entire part of your client deliverable(s). Through interactions with you as the project team leader, interns will receive back-end mentorship and support to help their success on the engagement and get your work done. But wait you will have help.

All projects although managed by you will be also monitored by one of our senior executives and their optional professors on the back-end to make sure everything is running smoothly. We are now celebrating our fourteenth year in our intern affiliation with the university so we know a thing or two about talent acquisition.

There will be formal goal-setting and evaluation processes throughout the projects. All projects are deadline-based and interacted through "Basecamp,” a very easy to use simple project management system which is offered free to you. It lets our students communicate everything related to the work, including the assignees, documents, discussions, dates, files, deadlines, communication, and everything else so you can monitor your project progress and status 24x7 on our cloud-based system. The system generates emails to you at the frequency you desire and provides end-of-day updates. 

 You get the benefit of a fixed project cost managed by a professional team of interns that are paid a competitive wage. The costs are billed to your credit card as agreed upon by both parties and scope as approved by you. The benefit of this route is that you are not paying for overhead such as lunches, office space, software registrations, insurance, or onboarding. We provide the best of the best in vetted university talent.

Flat fee project rate as reviewed per month, and agreed upon by you. Project kick-off fee is $150, and a monthly billing processing fee of $40.00. The student hourly rate is $27/hour, per student. You choose if you want one student or more.

Easy credit card billing at the end of the month for work done that you approve.

Example month one: 

Start -up fee $150

4 Hours of sales/marketing work $27/hr x 4 = $108

Processing fee $40

Month-end billing = $298.00

Month two: 4 hours of sales work 4 x $27/hour =$108

Processing fee $40

Month two billing= $148.00
